LLP
(Learning Lunch Program)

This is a district driven program that supports the success of our students.  We are taking seriously the role of keeping our students on target for passing all classes and more importantly that the/she is ready to graduate on schedule.

Mr. Hull and staff have a commitment to help each student achieve their best. The staff believes every one of their students have the ability to achieve higher than what is currently being produced.

We ask for parental support in this program to help ensure that the student stays caught up in class and and/or is not failing any classes. All positive encouragement from parents is greatly appreciated. Students need parental help in getting homework completed as well as their support towards taking advantage of the L.L.P. until passing grades are achieved. Last of all, this in no way any form of detention.

The process is quite simple. Students are referred by teachers with a list of work needed. Mrs. Savage or Miss Elsa Krier, Bridge Idaho, gives a list of missing assignments to the student and gives them time to get the homework done on their own. If that does not happen, usually within a day, the student then reports to the Bridge Idaho room 20N over their lunch period to work on assignments. If the student chooses not to show up or get the work done, they are referred to Mr. Hull or Mr. Wright for detention.

Data supports our measures in continuing with this program. Each quarter we do a grade check approximately 2-3 weeks before report cards. Each quarter has shown an increase of the number of classes students are passing. See charts below.
